How to Kill a Rock Star

We can remember that exact moment when we thought this book wasn’t going to have an HEA.  It’s heart wrenching, it hurts and it’s amazing!

Making Faces

I knew this book was going to make me cry within the first couple of chapters, but there is no way that I could have predicted how badly and the true cause of my tears.

Rock’n Tapestries

Never, ever, EVER in a million years while reading this book did I expect to ugly cry.  But I did…but strangely I was at peace with the ending.  Even though there is going to be a second book.  🙂

In the Fields

Oh…the many ugly cries this book caused me.  One in particular I was completely blindsided by…I saw it coming right before it happened but the emotional impact was there.

Falling Into You/Falling Into Us

Falling Into You just about killed me – even though I knew it was going to happen, all you have to do is read the synopsis to know it’s coming!  Falling Into Us…well, that was just heartbreaking on a different level.

The Fault in Our Stars

One of Brooke’s favorite books of all time and she can still recall every emotion, good, bad and ugly cry!

Vain/Greed

These books are already dealing with heavy topics to start off with, then…they give you the unexpected ugly cry!  Sneak attack – both times!  Never saw it coming and it was so freaking emotional.

When It Rains

One of the hardest prologues I’ve ever had to get through…and then it just goes downhill.  This book was sad…and then it GUTTED me.  Cried for hours.

The Last Hour

I am ever the optimist and even though this book never gives you complete hope, I still held onto every last thread until the bitter end.  It didn’t make it any easier.

  1. All i want for Christmas is for my family to be happy and healthy. I would really like for my nephew to be home with use but he has been stationed in Hawaii. Merry Christmas!!!

  2. I want a simple Christmas of happy and healthy family and friends. And for every soldier serving overseas to come home safely to their families.

  3. the one thing i’d love for Christmas would be for my whole family to be able to spend time together. It’s hard, and we try but i’d love to have more. Hope everyone gets more family time. happy reading.

  4. I want to be able to make my family happy for one day. Just one day without any craziness or fighting or anything. That’s what I want. If I were being super-selfish (which I often am), I’d say I want a copy of Silver Linings Playbook on BluRay.
