A New Adult Romance Novel by USA Today Bestselling Author Priscilla West
Two years ago, Lorrie’s mother was murdered. But that wasn’t the end of it. Reeling from the tragedy, Lorrie’s father spiraled into alcohol, depression, and finally suicide.
The two most important people in Lorrie’s life are both gone but she’s still alive.
Trying to recover from the tragedy, Lorrie returns to campus, ready to pick up the pieces of her life. All Lorrie wants is to get back to “normal.”
Then she meets Hunter. The man, the legend, “The Hammer.”
Hunter is a cage fighter who takes on every fight like he’s got nothing to lose. His life is a tangled mess of girls, booze, and fist fights. And while it may seem like he’s got a devil-may-care attitude, he’s fighting a private cage-match with a monster he can’t defeat.
Lorrie knows that Hunter is exactly the type of guy she should stay away from, especially in her fragile state, but Hunter has other ideas.
As Hunter and Lorrie grow closer together, will they be able to overcome their pain and heal each other? Or will they both end up wrecked?

INTERVIEW WITH PRISCILLA WEST
Q: Where did you get the idea or inspiration for WRECKED?
Priscilla: It might sound strange, but I got the idea for writing Wrecked by thinking about how obsessive relationships happen. I wanted to explore what would happen when two very troubled individuals fall in love. Lorrie and Hunter both have some very serious issues they’re dealing with and it’s obvious that they want to be together. What isn’t so clear is how they can resolve their issues together and build a happy and healthy relationship that’s based on trust and understanding.
Q: What was the most difficult part writing WRECKED?
Priscilla: The most difficult part of writing Wrecked was definitely writing the ending. There were just so many emotional scenes towards the end that it was incredibly draining to work on. When I write a set of characters for a while I really come to love them, almost like they’re my own children. I had the story plotted out so I knew where this road would lead for Lorrie and Hunter, but I just really had to push myself to write that part of the story because it was so painful.
Q: What was the most fun?
Priscilla: Writing from Hunter’s perspective was definitely the most fun! There aren’t too many opportunities to write from a male perspective for romance novels, so I enjoy it whenever there are. Even though in my previous series The Surrender Series I had written from Vincent’s perspective, Hunter is a totally different animal!
Q: What do you like to do when you are not writing?
Priscilla: I think my readers would kill me if they found out I wasn’t spending every waking moment on writing Rescued (Wrecked #2). LOL! Don’t worry! It’s coming out soon!
Q: Any future writing news you would like to share?
Priscilla: I’m working my butt off on Rescued (Wrecked #2)! I can’t announce a release date yet but it will be released early 2014, I promise!
