Author: Tara Sivec
Genre: New Adult, Contemporary Romance, Humor
Release Date: March 24, 2014
Ava Gilmore has the perfect life. She’s surrounded by people who love her, she’s having sex on a regular basis and her Coach bag collection just grew by three. The problem? She’s expected to follow in her family’s footsteps at Seduction and Snacks, working with sex toys and baked goods.
Ava loves vibrators and cupcakes as much as the next person, she’d just rather play with them than sell them. With her shopping addiction reaching an all time high and her credit card bills piling up, Ava decides to put her obsession to good use and start a fashion blog. But she has one other problem – the guy she’s having sex with has a My Little Pony addiction.
While dealing with her family’s disappointment and confusion over her choices, she finds support in the unlikeliest of places – Tyler Branson. Tyler has slowly wormed his way into her bed, her a$$ and her heart and he refuses to leave. Tyler has his own family problems to deal with and for the first time ever, Ava finds herself feeling bad for the annoying, immature guy and chanting “Friendship is magic!” during the sex she’d swore to stop having with him.
Ava needs to get her life in order once and for all before she finds herself doing something she never wanted to do – fall in love with a Brony.

Title: Love & Lists (Chocoholics #1)
Author: Tara Sivec
Genre: New Adult, Contemporary Romance, Humor
Release Date: October 1, 2013
Love and Lists is the first book in the Chocolate Lovers spinoff Chocoholics: The foulmouthed offspring tell their stories.
Twenty-five-year-old Gavin Ellis has always had the love and support of his family ever since he was a little boy and couldn’t stop talking about his penis. He’s also always had their unsolicited advice and uncanny knack of embarrassing him at all costs. Now that he’s an adult and trying to convince the love of his life to love him back, things haven’t changed very much from when he was younger.
When Gavin’s best friend Tyler suggests he make a todo list of items that will ensure he wins the girl, Gavin is onehundredpercent on board: after a few six packs.
After puking in the shrubs, a bad experience with Viagra, a SexEd course gone wrong, and a slew of other mishaps courtesy of his family and friends, Gavin is pretty sure this list will be the death of him.
Sometimes, trying to make someone love you with a list isn’t always the best idea. Especially when “Show her your penis” is the first “todo” item…

How? How is it possible for one woman to make me laugh so hard it brings tears to my eyes and yet at the same time turns me on? I don’t know how she does it but I refuse to argue with the plain and simple fact that Tara Sivec writes awesome books that I love. Ever since I read Love and Lists and learned of the magic that is Tyler and Ava, I’ve been anxiously awaiting this book. And OMG Tara did not disappoint. In case you weren’t aware, Passion and Ponies is the second book in the Chocoholics Series, a Chocolate Lover’s spin off. If you haven’t read the first book, Love and Lists…I would highly recommend it – everything will make a lot more sense!
Ava Gillmore…well, there is no easy way to say this, Ava is a bitch. Not like a little bit of a bitch, she’s pretty much a huge bitch 90% of the time. I think we can blame most of that on Liz because…well Liz is not exactly sunshine and roses. But at least she’s a bitch you can love! And I may not have cared that much for Ava in L&L but holy shit did I fall in love with her in P&P. So I said she’s a bitch and by that I mean…she has no filter, she says what she thinks in most instances and sometimes what she says/does is a little on the harsh side. That doesn’t make her ‘bad’ and I don’t think she goes out of her way to be mean, but Ava is just very selective about who she shares her feelings and thoughts with. She’s a very private person and aside from her family and fashion, she’s never really loved anyone or anything else. Her love of fashion is really more of an obsession but it’s what she is passionate about and it’s a cute little quirky thing about her. But I have to be honest, it was cute watching her fall in love with a Brony.
‘I am twenty-one years old and I hate my life. Okay, maybe hate is a strong word. I’m dissatisfied.’
Tyler Branson…I never thought I would love a Brony, but I fucking love Tyler. I said it in my L&L review…Tyler is Drew 2.0 and truer words were never spoken! In all honest…I love it. Can’t get enough of it, could read about Tyler and his antics all day. Why? He’s funny as fuck, sexy as sin and I will never be satisfied. He has even less of a filter than Ava does…if that’s even possible…just in a less bitchy and more crude/sexual way. I really wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to get on the ‘Brony Boat’…and I may not be completely okay with all of it…but it works for Tyler…don’t ask me how or why…but it does. And not that I didn’t love Ava, but Tyler stole the show in this book…in every way shape and form. I couldn’t wait to see what he did next and I was constantly and pleasantly surprised with the things that came out of his mouth and his actions. Tyler rocked my face off…the end.
“Eeew, don’t spit in our shower!” Charlotte scolds.
“I HAVE GAVIN’S JIZZ ON MY FACE! I WILL SPIT WHEREVER THE FUCK I WANT!”
So…I figured Tyler + Ava = hot, dirty, angry sex…which is awesome for the record – and yes, we did get that, but there were also these really unexpected moments of sweetness with them. Moments where they let their guard down and actually talked, rather than yelling at each other (more like Ava yelling at Tyler) or just fucking…they were there for each other, supportive of what they were going through separately. They allowed themselves to care about another person and I liked seeing that side. In fact…I’m not above admitting it – a Tara Sivec book made me cry. I’m not joking…there was a moment with Tyler and Ava…it’s kind of a turning point for both of them where they figure their shit out and I had tears pouring from my eyes because it was so unexpected and sincere and I loved it. Out of all the craziness in their relationship and in their lives they had this sweet, touching moment and it really touched me. Surprised me at how much it touched me because it was so unexpected but so pure and real and fitting for both of them. Totally didn’t see it coming and it worked for them…perfectly.
‘“I like dirty talk, I LOVE dirty talk. What you’re doing is not dirty talk. It’s ‘weird as fuck’ talk. Repeat after me: I love fucking you, your pussy is so tight,” Ava demands.
Well, damn, that was hot. I kind of wihs I had a vagina right now.’
All bets are off in this book…if you think there is a topic that hasn’t been touched in any of the other books – HA! Jokes on you… This has it all…Brony’s and My Little Ponies barely scratches the surface, but every single layer of it had me laughing. The things that come out of their mouths…like…I just can’t. It’s just amazing. Like “Sorry, I couldn’t help it. I just keep picturing a uterus with tiny little fists of fury screaming at people in a chipmunk voice, ‘I’m a wee little uterus and I will fuck all of you up.’” or “Fisting is NOT romantic!” or “IT’S HAPPENING! IT’S REALLY HAPPENING! I’M SHITTING IN THE SHRUBS!” and of course…the holy grail – “I like to masturbate on the interstate!” . I mean…you can’t fake that. At all. The sad thing is – that last one isn’t fake…I heard it with my own ears! 🙂 The chapter titles really did it for me too because they were like little teasers to get you amped up and excited for what was to come – freaking loved them. I mean from dildo angels to MLP sex toys to understanding the different types of glitter…it all made me smile so hard my cheeks hurt and laugh so hard it brought tears to my eyes.
‘She smiles at me and like a fucking chick, my heart skips a beat. I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen Ava smile unless she was plotting something evil and calculating. This smile is soft and lights up her entire face.
Yep, it’s happened, folks. I’ve grown a vagina.
“Why are you so unhappy with your life? You’ve got a great job, the perfect family and you get boned by a dude with made bedroom skills on a regular basis,” I smirk’
As usual the best part about this series is seeing all of the characters and having all of them interact with each other. Don’t ask me how Tara takes the original 6 then adds in 2 more couples…plus a dash of Ava and Charlotte’s ninja sister Molly every now and then…and never have it get the least bit confusing…but she does! Not only is not confusing but it’s hilarious as fuck, especially when you get Claire, Carter, Liz and Jim in the mix…they might be older (which is still hard for me to process sometimes) but they still have every ounce of hilarity that I fell in love with in the original Chocolate Lover’s series. Now I never talk plot in my reviews…because I’m not here to tell you the story, plus that’s the easiest way to give away spoilers (which is another thing I don’t do) but HOLY SHIT…I LOVE what happened with the twist in this book. Did I see it coming…a little bit, there are hints thrown in there – but that didn’t bother me or take away from the enjoyment of the final ‘reveal’. It was genius, it was logical and it worked brilliantly with these characters.
“No toys tonight. Nothing weird, nothing kinky…just us.”
I truly hope this isn’t the end for this next level of the Chocolate Lovers gang…now that I have them back, I’m still not ready to let go. Plus we still have Molly, the ninja sister, to figure out and I must experience Drew & Jenny’s son…that has amazingness written all over it. Bring on more Chocoholics!
