  20. Ok, totally corny, but when I went to pick up my pizza for carry out, I found out they have a special on Wednesday’s so I got an extra $5 off. It’s the little things…

  22. Something that happened today….. Hmm. Well I cleaned my house, and played with my kids! That’s what happened for me today! lol 🙂

  23. I hadn’t seen my kids for 3 days. When I picked them up after work, my daughter put her arms around me and squeezed and told me “mommy, I love you so much and missed you terribly” My son looked at me, and as he saw on the movie Jack and Jill, he said “I missed you! Where were you!” LOL It was awesome!

  25. The best thing that happened today was my power only went out once. Was without power from Saturday night till Monday at 1:30. Tuesday the power was pretty much out most of day again. It was a VERY LONG WEEKEND. Was collecting water out of all the puddles in my yard, just to flush the toilets, had to go get drinking water from friends house. Not fun with 3 teenagers in the house, no TV, no showers, no running water, no radio and no phone. We are all still alive so today was a good day 🙂

  27. Work meetings can be dull. I had one today that was fun! I got to chat with an IT gal whom I’d not seen in some time (because I changed jobs within the organization) and gave valuable input about an upgrade to our specialized software that other staff hadn’t considered (and that will mean an improved product for all users, not just myself). This will be HUGE once the upgrade is launched.

  28. The good thing that happened today? That’s easy…it’s my birthday! 🙂 So spent the afternoon having lunch and shopping for books and Disney stuff with my mom.

  32. A high demand audio book that I’ve been waiting to borrow from my online library finally became available today. It seems like I’ve been waiting on it forever and checked every day, some days multiple times. I’m happy! 🙂

  34. I went for a relaxing walk with my 2 dogs and saw a beautiful sunset after 3 days of rain and tornado warnings. It was refreshing. 🙂

  36. My boys and I bought our fireworks for Friday night! Can’t wait to shoot them off!

  37. It was my day off, so my uncle & I went to our favorite Chinese restaurant and then to his

  47. It is still early in the morning but here so nothing yet today – but yesterday I had a wonderfully relaxing night sitting outside reading with my dog and generally enjoying myself so that was great to have some time to unwind 🙂

  48. My boyfriend and I picked out furniture together today. Pretty awesome. Hope I’m posting in the right spot.

  51. It’s a good day today, I woke up, the weather is GORGEOUS…nice and cool….and after today, I am on vacation!! Going to Vegas!!

  67. The good thing about today was it was an easy day at work and now I have 11 days off of work. SUMMER VACATION!!!!

  69. Something good that happened today was that my husband went on a job interview for a job that he has wanted for a very long time and it went really well!! I am very happy for him! 😀

  70. My boss treated me and my co-workers all to ice cream this afternoon. I had pecan praline for the first time in at least 5 years. It was just as good as I remembered!

  81. Since I just woke up…I would say I don’t have to work today….so all is good!

  82. The best thing that happened to me today, this morning, is that I still have power. We were without power for 2 days on the long weekend. From Saturday night till Monday afternoon. Tuesday we were mostly without power again. A hot shower and cup of coffee are AWESOME !!!!

  84. My 10 year old son is sick today. 🙁 Glad we didn’t have any plans to go anywhere today or tonight.

  93. I got almost no sleep last night due to a headache, but I managed to get out of bed this morning without having a seizure, despite the lack of sleep (which is one of my triggers). To me, that’s awesome!

  104. It’s Sunday, end of the weekend, but my son is coming home who I haven’t seen in 2 weeks, and my husband is smoking a pork butt for dinner!!

  109. My husband is just about done with a big job, he paints houses, and we’ll get to spend a day or two together with the kids for a change.

  112. My garbage disposal got replaced this morning. Since it’s been broken since last Wednesday, I’m thrilled to finally have it working again!

  115. My daughter went to her first day of Kinder Kamp. It’s a 4 day event at her school to prepare those kids for kindergarten! She has grown up so fast! Thanks for the giveaway!

  116. I live in Guatemala well I slept around 5am and suddenly I felt a vibration… well it was an earthquaked.

  145. I managed to go grocery shopping with both my boys without pulling my hair out! That is a big accomplishment for me. They usually drive me crazy when we go shopping.

  147. I spent the weekend with my 2 year old godson he in his pull ups me in my undies snacking, drinking, and playing just dance on the wii. PRICELESS!

  153. I’m reading an EXCELLENT book, Mud Vein by Tarryn Fisher. Acutally, two great books, Love, In English too.

  164. Had a great time at my sister BBQ hanging out with family and friends that I haven’t seen in a while.

  169. My 7yr old was very excited that his cousin, who is also 7yrs old, brought her new bike over this morning. She’s been riding her old bike, which was two sizes too small for her. lol

  173. I still haven’t caught the cold that my youngest and my husband have, so that’s great!

  174. My kids didn’t come in and try to get me up 20 times before 7:30am this morning. lol!!

  177. I slept in knowing I don’t have to go anywhere today or do anything pressing!! TGIF!

  193. Taking my boys to do some fun stuff today. Aracde games, bumper cars, go karts, mini-golf and laser tag.

  197. We got a little rain this morning!! Not much, but a little is better than nothing.

  201. I am packing my luggage for my vacation to New York!!! (Leaving tomorrow) Cant wait 🙂

  202. Today is our local festival, so we are headed to the parade and other fun activities.
