On this Valentine’s Day, I could get you the same old boring shit like chocolates and flowers. Honestly, I can see you throwing it all in my face if I dared to try. Maybe you wouldn’t necessarily throw the chocolate, especially if it was Ben & Jerry’s HalfBaked ice cream. I bet you wish I would’ve gotten you that, huh? I can already imagine the disappointment on your face when you read this.
So instead, of offering you material things that you don’t give a damn about, I will give you something you can keep forever. I’ve promised to keep you safe and to make you happy. I will continue to do that until the day I die. But there is another promise that I need you to know. You already agreed to be my wife and one day soon I’m going to make that happen. For now, I promise to love you unconditionally, even on those days you annoy the shit out of me. So with that being said, my love for you will never die. It is yours for all eternity.
