Dear Aspen,
Well here I am, sitting at our kitchen table with my two annoying brothers jabbering in my ear, distracting the piss out of me, while I try to compose the ultimate love poem for you. But what can I say to a woman who pins her favorite quotes on a board and top anything those famous authors have done? I’m no great, talented writer. This you know well. Nothing I slop together could ever rate a spot on your board. All I can offer you that no dead poet will is this: I love you more than any of them could even attempt to. No words can contain the way I cherish you. You can only feel it, experience, live it. I’ll never be able to express it with the perfect word, but I’ll spend the rest of my life showing you how precious you are to me.
