*~*Love Note: Lock to Hailey – Half-Life Series by Amber Lin & Shari Slade*~*
When Hailey crashes a Half-Life after party, she expects to find the bastard who knocked up her little sister. Instead she meets the sexy front-man who agrees to give her access to his crew if she gives him access to her body.
All Lock demands in return is three days of complete control over the Sunday School teacher. With a contract, because he’s been burned before. One misstep could send the band—and his tenuous sobriety—up in flames.
Hailey and Lock push each other’s limits… Against the penthouse window. Backstage. In the limo and on the elevator. But as the contract counts down, neither are ready for the party to end.
Half-Life Bassist Krist Mellas is still in the media doghouse after a sex video blew up online months ago. His agent has the solution: a fake engagement with sultry pop princess Madeline Fox to prove he’s got his shit together. Krist couldn’t care less about public opinion, but Madeline has an image problem too—and he owes her a favor.
Madeline knows better than anyone what it means to live a lie in the spotlight. She’s determined to help Krist without ever letting him find out what it costs her—or about her girlhood crush on him. But after a smoking encounter in the back alley of an exclusive club, she can’t deny she wants the surly rocker.
In a world of glitter and diamonds, where pretend kisses feel all too real, their facades start to crack. And the publicity storm may shatter them both.
WARNING: This book contains a scorching threesome with girl on girl action, a dirty talking pop princess, and a gruff rocker who hits all the right notes.
Lock is making an addendum to the contract…

Sex Contract Addendum
This agreement is between:
Hailey Shaw, formerly Hailey Miller, presently and forever the love of my fucking life. Will heretofore be referred to as Church Mouse, because I love corrupting her.
AND
Keaton Shaw, lead guitarist of Half-Life, a general bastard, and luckiest man alive.
On February 14th, which will be referred to as Valentine’s Day, Church Mouse will be swept away for a wicked weekend of total submission.
She is instructed to dress for a tropical climate. Wearing underwear will result in a spanking. Not wearing underwear will result in a spanking. There will be spanking. Said spanking may occur on the tarmac, on the plane, in the limo, and/or at the hotel.
No suitcases are permitted. All packing should be limited to a small carry-on bag. Suggested items include, but are not limited to, the following: lube, massage oil, red lipstick, that lotion that smells like cookies and makes me crazy.
Creativity is encouraged, but articles of clothing are not. In the rare event that additional clothes prove necessary, they will be provided.
EXCEPTION: Church Mouse may bring one cardigan sweater (because she gets chilly) but acknowledges that said sweater will be ripped from her person at some point because those little sweaters are really fucking hot.
Church Mouse also acknowledges that she will be bodily available for the following. Initial each line:
Bending over at any time of day or night on my orders _______
My mouth on her pretty pussy, even if she’s sleeping ______
Relentless “Oh God. Stop. Don’t stop. I’m going to die.” orgasms _______
Like our wedding rings, this contract is legally, morally and physically binding. With rope, handcuffs and/or my fingers wrapped around her beautiful fucking wrists.
Keaton “Lock” Shaw
PS. I don’t think I had a heart until I found you sitting in that hotel lobby, all prim and proper in your borrowed bad girl clothes. I asked if I could lead you down into the belly of the beast. You took my hand and never let go. Fucking fearless. You’re the light in my darkness, the air in my lungs, the hope in every song I write. You’re my heart and my home and I will spend the rest of my life trying to give you a fraction of what you give me.
Happy Valentine’s Day.
Amber Lin writes erotic romance with damaged souls and deep emotion.
Her debut novel, Giving It Up, received The Romance Review’s Top Pick, Night Owl Top Pick, and 5 Blue Ribbons from Romance Junkies. RT Book Reviews gave it 4.5 stars, calling it “truly extraordinary.” She has been published by Loose Id, Carina Press, and Entangled.
Amber married her high school sweetheart, birthed a kid who’s smarter than she is, and spends her nights writing down her dirty thoughts. In other words, life is good. You can get more info on Amber’s website.
Shari Slade is a snarky optimist. A would-be academic with big dreams and very little means. When she isn’t toiling away in the non-profit sector, she’s writing gritty stories about identity and people who make terrible choices in the name of love (or lust). Somehow, it all works out in the end. If she had a patronus it would be a platypus. Find out more at Sheri’s website.
