It doesn’t seem like it’s enough to write this simple note but as Lily informed me, it’s Valentine’s Day, and what kind of man would I be if I didn’t?
The love you have for our daughter, the love you have for our son, the love you show me every single day–they’re gifts I’ll treasure for the rest of my life. As I sit here, imagining your round belly, your swelling breasts… well, I’m getting hard and should probably stop that line of thought. Especially since Kale’s sitting right next to me, and now this is just getting weird.
I could go on and on, but I’m not a wordy man, so I’ll end this just the way you like– in Spanish. You’ll have to come to me for the translation. And your real gift.
Tú eres mi corazón. Tú eres mi alma. Eres mi todo. Te quiero con todo mi corazón.
