It’s almost two in the morning, but I can’t get my mind to slow down long enough for sleep. I’d love to roll you over and find peace inside of you, but I know how tired you’ve been since the twins were born. So instead, I’m being creepy and watching you sleep while I write this.
Our life has been crazy over the last eight months, and it seems we are always running in opposite directions. I worry that sometimes I get caught up in the day-to-day hustle that I fail to adequately remind you how much you truly mean to me. And no, I’m not talking about all the ways I show you with my hands, mouth, and cock. I’m talking about when the world slows down and Emma Jones, the snarky, foul-mouthed woman I fell in love with, makes her nightly appearance. I love our kids more than life itself, but I selfishly want more time alone with my wife.
I know how much you love my plans, so here’s the deal. My sister will be here at seven. Pack an overnight bag, no suitcase, and don’t ask questions. I’m not telling you where we’re going.
