Watching sex tapes at the office is just part of PR professional Vivian Blake’s job, especially when she has to clean up a celebrity’s image. Except that her newest client isn’t quite that easy. Racecar driver Jarod Cage is beyond hot, and his onscreen “performance” is already compromising Viv’s cool professionalism.
While Jarod hasn’t exactly been discreet about his personal life, he never thought his reputation could cost him both his sponsor and his racing career. Now he has to put his future in the hands of a tiny, pixie-like publicist. Which is becoming a problem, because the heat between them is about to redline. But when you go this hard and fast, putting on the brakes is the most dangerous thing you can do…
Thanks for inviting me to the True Story Book Blog, Lisa!
Let’s hit these questions!!
Describe Vivian in one sentence.
Vivian Blake is tough, determined, and daring—which sometimes prevents her from making the most wise decisions 😉
Describe Jarod in one sentence.
Jarod Cage is a tough alpha with a ton of heart!
Favorite and least favorite scene to write in Caught? (Without spoiling! 🙂 )
My favorite scene is the smexy times in Viv’s office—it’s wild and crazy and I love it!
Least favorite is when something bad happens to a beloved character 🙁
What’s your guilty pleasure?
I don’t believe pleasure is guilty! It makes me sad when people feel like they have to justify something they love by calling it a guilty pleasure. It’s just pleasure! Mine are: reading dirty books, eating dark chocolate, drinking a delicious glass of red wine, and (after writing a book) I like to spend a day recouping by watching an HGTV marathon.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My son! He’s turning into such an amazing person, I hope I have something to do with that!
Favorite Word and Least Favorite Word?
Fave: Epitome. I love the meaning and the way it’s spelled 🙂
Worst: Bitch. That word carries so much baggage and has kept woman down. Though I love when women take it back!
Biggest fear?
I’m terribly claustrophobic. Tight spaces, or any situation where I’m confined, is sooo not good for me. Sadly, I could never be with a man like Christian Grey.
Favorite memory?
Once my son finally made his way into the world. It was a moment of bliss after so much pain. I had a very difficult labor and he was stuck and… we’ll just leave it at that.
Worst flaw?
Procrastination. I wait and wait until I have no choice but to do the task I’ve been avoiding. I’ve tried every game and method to try and break this habit, but I haven’t been able to.
Most annoying pet peeve?
People who aren’t self-aware – like the those who walk into an elevator before the others get off; or don’t say thank you when someone holds the door for them; or talk on their phone while ordering a cup of coffee. Oh boy, I could go on and on.
Either/Or Questions:
Chocolate or Vanilla? Chocolate
Vivian or Jarod? Please don’t make me choose!
Warm or Cold? Warm.
Early Bird or Night Owl? Night Owl.
Pain or Pleasure? Pleasure!
Outdoor or Indoor? Outdoor.
Blondes or Brunettes? Blondes.
Ketchup or Mustard? Mustard.
Coffee or Cocktail? That’s just mean – coffee, I guess
Texting or Calling? Texting. I hate the phone!
This was so fun. Thanks again!!
