Happy Valentine’s Day, my little one.
I’ve been thinking about this – our first Valentine’s Day together, and how I want to make it special. I debated getting you flowers, but then I decided not to. Since you own a floral shop, I figured you’d be so tired of anything resembling a plant that if I gave you flowers, I’d probably end up wearing them.
I also thought about jewelry. But the truth is, there is nothing I could give you that would come close to conveying everything I feel for you. Well, other than the piece you already wear, and even that only scratches the surface.
So what do to, my strong and feisty, sub?
Oh, I have plenty of naughty ideas of things we could do together. We’ve yet to delve into role play and I think I’d like to see you dressed up as a harem girl. I’d watch you sway to soft music, while little by little you undress for me. And then, when you’re naked…
You know exactly what happens when you’re naked, don’t you?
Mmmm. Yes. Exactly.
Or maybe I’d have you dress up as a seventeenth-century chambermaid and, as lord of the manor, when you’re found stealing the family jewelry, your discipline falls to me. This time, I’d be the one to undress you. I’d command you bend over my knee, and you’d balk and hesitate, but only because you know doing so will only add to your punishment.
However, as much as I enjoy doing all manner of wicked things to your body, I love simply being with you. Whether we’re walking around the garden, debating on which trees we should plant in the fall, or we’re in the kitchen, with you keeping me company as I cook. I love your mind, your spunk, and your wit.
I don’t think I’ve told you about my favorite part of the day. It’s when you’re softly snoring in my arms and I kiss the top of your head in a silent goodnight. And in those last few heartbeats before sleep claims me, I smile, because I know I’m the luckiest bastard alive.
So I think this Valentine’s Day, we’ll stay home. You’ll chat with me while I prepare us something fantastically delectable. After dinner, I’ll pour us wine and maybe we’ll share a bath. Once we’re dry, I’ll make sure we get nice and sweaty, just so I can bathe you again. Then I’ll give you your Valentine’s surprise. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll be able to grasp how much you mean to me.
I love you, Sasha.
Yours forever,
Cole
Tara Sue Me wrote her first novel at the age of twelve. It would be twenty years before she picked up her pen to write the second.
After completing several clean romances, she decided to try her hand at something spicier and started The Submissive. What began as a writing exercise quickly took on a life of its own. An avid reader of all types of fiction, she soon discovered she enjoyed writing a variety as well.
Tara lives in the Southeastern United States with her family, two dogs, and a cat.

I don’t have a book boyfriend since I bat for the other team. But if I had to pick a book girlfriend it would Sophie Winters in Witch’s Vampire by Jami Brumfield.
