“Tattooed package of sin.”
That’s how Savannah Ryan would describe Declan Whitmore, the deliciously tatted and pierced fighter who holds the top spot in The Pit, Boston’s newest underground fighting organization. Declan is relentless when he sets his sights on someone, both in and out of the ring, and Savannah’s witty comebacks and tight little body have just landed her on his radar.
There are a couple of teensy problems, though. Declan just happens to be Savannah’s new boss, which normally wouldn’t have stopped her from sleeping with him, but this recently reformed bad girl is trying to go straight after heading down a dangerous path. It’s too bad that Savannah’s new road to salvation doesn’t include pit stops for hard muscles, a beautiful face, and the prettiest damn pair of green eyes she’s ever seen.
Declan’s used to getting any girl he wants, but turning over a new leaf means too much to Savannah. She’s not going to make this easy for him. Her jaded exterior has kept people out and held her secrets in for as long as she can remember, and that’s exactly how she wants it to stay. But as Declan gets glimpses of the real girl inside, vulnerable and afraid, he makes it his mission to tear down those walls and free her.
What if this tattooed package of sin is all the salvation she needs?
*Don’t read this book if you don’t like snarky, dominant, tattooed men who say things like “Open your mouth, and I will,” after you tell them to shove it. And don’t read this book if you don’t like sassy, strong-willed, fiercely independent heroines who use phrases like “bossy asshole” as a term of endearment. You have been warned.*

Title: Sink or Swim (Knockout Love Series Book #1.5)
Author: Kelley R. Martin
Declan Whitmore is used to fighting for what he wants, both in and out of the ring. His Pops used to tell him that anything worth having in life would take work. Declan thought he took the motto to heart, especially when Savannah came into his life.
With a razor-sharp tongue and intolerance for bullshit, Savannah was the complete opposite of what Declan usually went for, but he quickly realized she’s everything he didn’t know he needed. Declan, however, was everything Savannah needed to stay away from. She had a dark, troubled past and was fighting to keep her head above water. She simply didn’t have room for a beautiful, six-foot-three fighter, whose compassion and filthy mouth had the power to bring her cynical, jaded ass to its knees. But Declan wanted Savannah, so he fought for her. And he’s never lost a fight.
Declan is head over heels in love with Savannah, but the ghosts from her past haunt them both now. It puts a strain on their new relationship that neither knows how to fix, but Savannah’s determined to try. For the first time in her life she has something worth fighting for, and she’ll be damned if she loses anything else.
Come hell or high water, Declan is HERS.

Kitten,
I wrote you a poem:
Roses are red
Violets are blue
You’re sexy as fuck
And I want to do you
I mean every word, from the bottom of my heart.
All joking aside, thank you. These past few months have been the best of my life, and I owe it all to you, Kitten. You’re the air in my lungs, the blood in my veins. You’re everything to me. And I know I don’t say it enough, but thank you.
Thank you for taking a chance on me. Thank you for giving me something worth fighting for. But mostly, thank you for our daughter. I didn’t know it was possible to love something that pukes and poops this much, but I do. I love her with all my heart, and I love you even more just for giving her to me. You gave my life meaning, Savannah, and I’ll never be able to thank you enough.
But I can promise you this—I’ll spend the rest of our lives trying to make it up to you. In fact, I’m very much looking forward to it.
Happy Valentine’s Day, Kitten
Love,
Declan
Kelley lives in East Texas, but she swears it’s not all country music and cowboy boots… Okay, some of it is, but not all of it. She’s got an amazing husband, who continues to inspire her every day. Even after twelve years and two ridiculously cute little girls.
