What he wants he gets…
Knox Masters is a quarterback’s worst nightmare. Warrior. Champion. And…virgin. Knox knows what he wants–and he gets it. All American Football player? Check. NFL pros scouting him? Check. Now, he’s set his sight on two things. The national title. And Ellie Campbell. Sure, she’s the sister of his fellow teammate, but that’s not going to stop him. Especially not when he’s convinced Ellie is the one.
…but he’s never met her before.
But Ellie isn’t as sure. She’s trying to start a new life and she’s not interested in a relationship…with anyone. Beside it’s not just her cardinal rule of never dating her brother’s teammates that keeps her away, but Ellie has a dark secret that would jeopardize everything Knox is pursuing.
Knox has no intention of losing. Ellie has no intention of giving in.
Knox is so amazingly swoon-tastic! I love it!

Dear Ellie:
Excuse my crappy handwriting. I’ve got our little monster asleep—in my other arm. I’m afraid if I set him down, he’ll start wailing again. I don’t know how you do it and I feel guilty that I’m not here to help you more which is why I’m letting you nap longer. Sorry, not sorry.
As I was feeding Meyer, it reminded me of the time that I was sick last summer? Remember that? I’d gotten some bug and couldn’t keep anything down—not even water? I joked that I must be pregnant and then we found out a month later, you were the one that was knocked up? You had been so busy taking care of me that you forgot to take your birth control.
I was so fucking scared and happy at the same time. I hadn’t felt that way since I waited for your brother to bring you to the athletic center. When I asked you to marry me, I was sure you were going to tell me I was crazy.
And I was—crazy in love with you. Crazy with fear you’d say no. Crazy with hope for our future.
Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. I wouldn’t even erase that time when we were apart, because that separation only reaffirmed how much I loved you, couldn’t live without you, and that I’d do anything to have you.
I still feel that way. If I had to choose between you and the game, it’d be you every time. You and Meyer. My world is made perfect because you’re part of it. My heart beats because of you.
Sleep, baby, sleep. When you wake up, your men will be waiting, full of our love.
Love you more than the world.
