Roses are red, Violets are blue. Life can be messy, And love can be too. Most people say that it’s not important where you’re going, but instead, how you get there. Unfortunately for me, the journey to love was absolutely agonizing. Love and Hate wrestled with my life day after day, year after year, and the only way to stop it was to let one of them win. Which one? I fought to love harder. But I loathe my love story. Warning: This standalone novel contains explicit language, sexual content, and potential triggers.
Blane wrote a Love Note last year too – check it out!

Hey Elbow,
I know Valentine’s day makes you think of Gram, the ruthless romantic, so I wanted to make sure any and all thoughts were positive. She loved you more than anything else in the world—almost as much as me, in fact. She was pretty clever too. I guess that’s why I found this note for you in my sock drawer. I’m still not really sure how she pulled that one off.
NeeNee, If you’re reading this, I’m dead. Obviously. I’m also aware I’ve already pissed you off by calling you NeeNee, so I’ll keep it short. Take life (and that man of yours) by the balls and don’t let go. Love hard and do it forever. Live like I’m there, eating salsa from the perfect spot in your bed. I love you, sweet girl. I don’t know how long I’ve been gone, but I know that I miss you. You were so much more than a bright spot in my long life—you were one of the loves of it. All of my love, always, forever, Gram
I’m not sure about the grabbing me by the balls part, but the rest of it sure made sense.
Because you’re the love of my life too. Happy Valentine’s Day.
Love,
Blane
