When the Realtor called that chilly spring morning to tell me you wanted to rent my cabin, you have no idea how much I wanted to tell her to forget it. I wanted to sleep, not worry about paperwork. But as soon as I saw you, I was glad I did go through with it. You needed my help, city girl. If you’d rented from anyone else, there’s no way you would’ve stayed in Deep Creek for more than a few days. It took me a little while, but I realized how much I needed you, too. I may not have shown it–especially in the beginning, but I needed your silly way of barging ahead with no plan. You showed me it’s okay to be spontaneous. Though you did make some mistakes that were pretty huge. We helped each other and that’s what counts. I think we both learned that we need each other and together, we’re pretty much unstoppable.
