My heart was locked and the key was at the bottom of the fucking ocean. I was sure I’d only ever be happy with my hands on my bass. I was sure the best I could do was distraction. But you’re my angel. You saved me from closing myself off to joy. You are my joy, baby. Your smile lights up every single nerve in my body. And your pleasure—better not start or I won’t fucking stop.
I wish I was in bed with you right now instead of getting ready to play to ten thousand screaming fans in Chicago.
