I spent forever looking through all the Valentine’s Day cards at the store. I was trying to find the perfect one to sum up what you mean to me. None of them were right. It wasn’t a waste of time though. Seeing how they were wrong helped me know exactly what I wanted to say.
There are days I still feel like I don’t deserve you. I’ve told you before and this is the part you usually tell me to shut up. You truly are my better half. You are the strongest person I know. Strength isn’t all about muscles.
You believed in us before I could even dream of us. You risked so much in trusting me and by doing so taught me to trust again as well. I love you more than I’ve ever loved anything and somehow every moment I’m with you that love only grows.
I can’t picture a day without you in it. You’re it for me Kacey. I’m taking you out tonight. Brewmasters has a new IPA on tap. If you wear that one dress and we don’t make it out of the apartment, I’ll take you tomorrow.
