*~*Love Note: Alex to Olivia – Thrust by Sybil Bartel*~*

I know the game. I know the angle. I know how to make you beg.
My hands on your body, my mouth hovering over yours—I’ll tell you everything you want to hear. Ten inches of real estate never felt so good.
But don’t take my word for it. My client list is long and my motto is short—one single thrust and you’re mine. I’m not good at what I do, I’m fantastic. But satisfaction doesn’t come cheap. So open your wallet and prepare to forget your name. I’m about to ruin you for any other man.
One single thrust and you’re mine.
Awww…I love seeing Alex’s soft side!

Sweetness,
You know you had me the second I laid eyes on you. That sexy smile and feisty attitude had me locked in. And the moment I made you mine, there was no going back.
I know I’ll never take away the pain of the loss of your brother. All I can tell you is that from this Marine’s perspective, your brother would’ve been proud of you, proud of what you’re doing with your charity. I’m fucking proud of you, babe. (Yes, I just called you that and yes, you’re still gonna give me that sweet body of your tonight.)
I never thought happiness would be a woman and a bunch of mangy canines in my bed each night. (Don’t start, you know Sparks is a scrapper!) I never got off on the vulnerability of sharing my life. War was my high and making money was my release. I didn’t think I had a heart to give until I saw you in that unfinished penthouse. Then you threw that piece of shit painting over the balcony and I fucking fell in love. Life with you isn’t a ride, it’s the best damn trip I ever took.
You keep me guessing, Sweetness, and I love the hell out of you for it. I’m proud of you for putting your heart where it counts. I’m proud to call you mine, but more, I’m fucking lucky you call me yours. Happy Valentine’s Day, Gorgeous. I can’t wait to get under you.
Alex

Sybil grew up in Northern California with her head in a book and her feet in the sand. She used to dream of becoming a painter but the heady scent of libraries with their shelves full of books about wistful summer days and first loves drew her into the world of storytelling. Her true literary love is the New Adult genre but really, any story about a love so desperately wrong and impossibly beautiful, makes her swoon.
Sybil now resides in Southern Florida and while she doesn’t get to read as much as she likes, she still buries her toes in the sand. If she’s not writing or fighting to contain the banana plantation in her backyard, you can find her spending time with her handsomely tattooed husband, her brilliantly practical son and a mischievous miniature boxer who stole her heart.

I loved Thrust. Such a sweet love note.
That was so capturing! It gave me an idea! I’m going to have my hubby and I write a love letter to each other about when we meet and fell in love. Great romantic writing! You’ve won me over! Can’t wait to read more from you.
