As you slept peacefully this morning, I counted my blessings for being the lucky man who wakes up next to you each day. Our relationship didn’t start off easy; we had to stumble a bit before we found our footing. But once we did, it became hard to even remember a time I didn’t love you. Fate brought us together, and even though we faltered, we didn’t fall.
Each day you seem to find a way to give more of yourself to me. I want you to know I see it, I see you. Even more so, I appreciate you. Your faith in me, in us, is astounding. I always knew I wanted more—a wife, a family, and love—but in you, I’ve found a partner, a soul mate, and my very best friend. In my wildest dreams, I never thought I’d end up with my perfect match.
This Valentine’s Day is our first of many more to come—at least fifty, if all goes according to plan. Unfortunately, we’re traveling and will be on the bus all day.
