Jade,
I’m sitting here at work, and I can’t stop thinking about you. This morning, I saw a flyer pinned to a board. Someone was looking for a roommate. At first, I wanted to call the person up and give them some pointers on what and what not to do. The primary suggestion being to avoid written agreements, as those tend to never stick and someone is always changing it. But then I stopped and thought about what would’ve happened to us if someone had done that to me. I couldn’t help but wonder if that would’ve changed anything, or if we never would’ve ended up falling in love.
And then I laughed at myself…because nothing could’ve kept me from falling in love with you. Ever since then, I haven’t been able to get you off my mind. So, I’ve resorted to making a list of all the things I’m going to do to you when I get home—well, after the kids go to bed. They don’t need to see any of that.
I love you more than I ever thought possible.
Happy Valentine’s Day,
Cash
P.S. Tell Aria I’ve looked over her proposed amendments to the Kindergarten Agreement, and I will talk it over with her later. But between you and me—hell no to all her suggestions. No way will I let her share a pencil box with a boy.

Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped.
She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.
The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. Most importantly Leddy wanted to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.
