It starts with a stolen kiss under an English sky, and it ends with a walk down the aisle. It starts with the President sending his best friend to woo me on his behalf, and it ends with my heart split in two. It starts with buried secrets and dangerous desires…and ends with the three of us bound together with a hateful love sharper than any barbed wire.
My name is Greer Galloway, and I serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States.
This is the story of an American Queen.
I’ve been many things.
I’ve been a son and a stepbrother. An Army captain and a Vice President.
But only with Him am I a prince. His little prince.
Only with Maxen and Greer does my world make sense, only between them can I find peace from the demons that haunt me. But men like me aren’t made to be happy. We don’t deserve it. And I should have known a love as sharp as ours could cut both ways.
My name is Embry Moore and I serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States…for now.
This is the story of an American Prince.
They say that every tragic hero has a fatal flaw, a secret sin, a tiny stitch sewn into his future since birth. And here I am. My sins are no longer secret. My flaws have never been more fatal. And I’ve never been closer to tragedy than I am now.
I am a man who loves, a man whose love demands much in return. I am a king, a king who was foolish enough to build a kingdom on the bones of the past. I am a husband and a lover and a soldier and a father and a president.
And I will survive this.Long live the king.
Ash’s Love note is too amazing for words!!!

Greer and Embry—
The babies are asleep, although I’m not sure for how much longer, so I’ll have to be brief. I already spent part of naptime on the phone with your doctor, Greer—yes, I know you two are there at his office right now, but I took the liberty of asking a few ancillary questions…mostly about the ways my husband and I can still enjoy my wife’s body while she’s carrying our twins. (Don’t worry, I adhered to Merlin’s rules and kept my questions and my identity discreet.) Even being away from the two of you for the length of a prenatal appointment is laced with the most acute pain; we’ve spent enough time apart in all our lifetimes to make even an extra moment unbearable.
Fortunately, I plan to make up for every moment we’re apart, first with sweat and teasing and the barest brushes of pain, and then with deep and lasting pleasure. I cannot master you the usual ways, Greer, while you are carrying our children, so I think it’s only fair that Embry gets double the punishment. Would you like that, princess? To tie our prince down and master him together? To run fingers over his kiss-shaped mouth as he moans and pants for more and more and more? And Embry, do you think you could bear it? To be attended to by your king and your queen until you’re shaking and spent?
Yes. I think you can bear it. For the sake of my greedy heart, if nothing else.
It’s been less than a month since you’ve come home to me, and still I’ll never get past my hunger for you both. Past my love and need for you, which grows day after day after perfect day. I count every minute until you’re both in my arms again.
Your king always,
Ash

I am so in love with these 3 characters. I have to constantly remind myself they are fictional. Their love for each other was hard fought but absolutely amazing. I never get tired with anything to do with Ash, Embry and Greer. I wish I could read about Embry’s time as president and Ash watching from the shadows….so greedy…

This is THE BEST!! These characters stay with me even now…my favorite trilogy – honestly some of my absolute favorite books. Thanks for this peek into their lives once they all made it to New Camelot…would love even a novella two years later (hint, hint ;))
And I totally agree with Cheri – would love for the novella to reflect back on the time of Embry in office…
Love, love, love.
