I’m in line at Starbucks, laughing at myself. I’m pretty sure the woman next to me thinks I’m crazy. I probably am.
I’m laughing because I remember a day when I walked in here and then sat in my car. Moved my car and then came back in, only to stand on the corner and then get back in my car. What was I doing? I was waiting for your to walk out of the salon you work in. I was hoping to “accidentally” bump into you and ask you to coffee. I was desperate back then. I still am.
Tessa, I’m a man of control. I seek it because I don’t handle the unexpected well. But with you, everything is unexpected. You make me break habits and step out of my comfort zone. You turned me into a damn stalker. I can’t believe you gave in.
This is our first Valentine’s Day so don’t be surprised if by the time you read this ridiculously long text that I’m standing at the reception of your salon with a coffee and a muffin. You may be mine but I’ll never stop courting you. Wooing you, making sure you know you’re loved.
But before I go, a Valentine fact for you…
