I know we just FaceTimed a few minutes ago, but I can’t sleep so I decided to write you an email. Even though I just told you I was doing fine and everything was great here, the truth is I’m missing you like crazy. I really hate being away from you. I guess Scotland is nice, but it’s cold and lonely. Everything is black and white and gray without you here to shine your light on it. I’m getting used to the funny accents and the funny food (I forgot to tell you I tried haggis and sort of liked it!), but I’ll never get used to sleeping alone.

I’ve gotten too accustomed to being happy, I guess. I don’t want to be without you for another month (or however long I’ve got left of this shoot). It’s all your fault for spoiling me. I forgot what my life was like before you showed up turned everything upside down. How empty and dull the world seemed.

I hope you’re coping better than I am, back there at home in LA. I know you are, because you’ve always been the strongest of the two of us. But I also a little bit hope you’re missing me. That’s not too selfish is it? At least you’ve got Taco to keep you company. I’ll bet he’s forgotten me again, hasn’t he?

Okay, now that I’ve fessed up, I’m going to try again to sleep. Maybe if I’m lucky I’ll dream of you.
