Dear Sophia,
492 days ago, and against my better judgment, I warily went to a coffee house to meet this pushy reality show producer. Although I had less than zero interest in being on her show, there was something about this woman—her beguiling charm, and her sexy voice that had spiked my curiosity to the point that I had to meet her.
So Baby, when you walked through that door just the vision of you took my breath away. I was glad to have a long moment to take you in while you tried enchanting the geek at the next table, assuming he was the Christmas nut. I’ll never forget your expression when I called out your name and you realized who your man actually was. Our chemistry was instantaneous and the minute you smiled I wanted nothing more than to kiss those beautiful lips and to hold you in my arms.
And that is how 461 days ago my house was full of lights, camera equipment and my gorgeous producer (whom I already had a hopeless crush on) and her obnoxious boss and team. I look back on that time and realize that I was completely under your spell, and as hellish as it was for me, it was those stolen moments of kisses and more that kept me from tossing everyone out on the street…. especially Paul.
Sadly, a rough time followed weeks later. As much as I want to forget what we went through when we were lost to each other, I know that experience made us stronger and set us on the path that led us to where we are now.
So because of that, 430 days ago (the day when we got back together!) was one of the best days of my life. Our love had only grown stronger because we’d learned how empty life was when we were apart. Moving forward we knew we wanted to be together every moment possible, so 354 days ago you moved in and brought your loving spirit into my home, now our home. For the first time ever I felt completely whole.
My nickname, Mr. 365 used to be about my dedication to spread the spirit of Christmas year round, but that title has taken on a new meaning for me and for us. Sophia you are everything I ever wanted in a lover and partner… you’re bright, passionate, and dedicated, and when you love, it’s with your whole heart. So believe me, my plan is to keep showering you with love… I’m going to show you every day how your love has changed me, and made my life better… three hundred and sixty five days a year.
xoxo your Will
