Title: A Brit on the Side (Castle Calder Series Book #1)
Author: Brenda St. John Brown
Genre: Contemporary Romance
A swoony romantic comedy about getting a second chance with your best shag.
I probably should have declined my bestie’s invitation to spend the summer in England working at her family’s castle-turned-hotel. But, dammit, it was either that or teach summer school math. Two doors down from my ex.
Obvious choice, right?
Except now I’m living within kissing distance of Jasper for the entire summer, and he’s just as sweet and sexy as I remember. Unfortunately, I also remember he gave me the best orgasm of my life in short-term parking. And on the desk chair. Then the kitchen counter. Judging by the way he kisses me, he remembers too.
Clearly, the best solution is:
a)Avoid him at all costs.
b) Sneak into Jasper’s room and bring a little Atlanta heat to the UK.
c) Fall for him. Hard.
I’m not going to choose C. Almost definitely.

Title: A Brit Unexpected (Castle Calder Series Book #2)
Author: Brenda St. John Brown
Genre: Contemporary Romance
A laugh-out-loud romantic comedy about trying to play it cool in a fake relationship with your real-life Hollywood crush.
The first time I saw Greyson Vaughn he was handling my baggage. And no, that’s not a cute way of saying he felt up my backside. The notorious bad boy actor and I shared a destination for the weekend: Castle Calder.
He wasn’t quite as gentlemanly at our second meeting; he accused me of scheming to manipulate him. Greyson Vaughn is undeniably charming…he is a movie star after all. He might make my fan girl heart skip a beat or six, but I’ll take a hard pass on sharing tea time with the jerk.
Only I’m not be as immune to his smile as I thought. One look, one laugh and I’m agreeing to be his fake girlfriend. Greyson’s a talented actor and soon I’m not sure what’s real and what’s not. He’s made it clear though, this is all for the cameras – those looks, that touch, that soul-searing kiss. The trouble is, I’m no actress, and there’s no way I’ll walk away from this in one piece.
Title: A Brit Complicated (Castle Calder Series Book #3)
Author: Brenda St. John Brown
Genre: Contemporary Romance
A sexy romantic comedy about the boss you love to hate. And shag…Actually, is there such a thing as a hate-shag?
My boss:
Uptight.
Straight-laced.
American.
Knobhead.
If he calls me Ms. St Julien one more time, I might stab him in the eye with a pen.
Also my boss:
Sexy AF.
Dirty-talker.
Funny??
That tour of London I was supposed to be taking him on kind of ended up in his bedroom. Oops.
Which brings us to me:
In way over my head.
Need prosecco.
And condoms.
Awww…Jasper!

Dear Bea,
Scarlett told me you’re spending the summer in England with our family at Castle Calder. She mentioned it last time we spoke, as casually as if she were talking about the weather. As if that bit of information didn’t have the power to fill me with both anticipation and dread.
Not that she would give it a second thought. You’re my little sister’s best friend/roommate, and you coming “home” with her for a few months will be lovely for you both. Castle Calder is beautiful in the summer – British summers being what they are. Don’t forget to bring a hoodie, and wellies wouldn’t be out of order.
Also, if you could bring back that piece of my heart you’ve been holding on to since our weekend together, I’d be forever grateful. It’s been two years since “that weekend”. We’ve never phoned each other or exchanged a text. At most, I’ve seen you in the background of my video calls with Scarlett, but even that’s been fleeting. I know it’s partly so as not to arouse Scarlett’s suspicions. She and I have always had a prickly relationship, and she wouldn’t take very kindly to the fact that we kissed. Or had sex on nearly every surface of your apartment.
You leaning over the back of the sofa still fuels my fantasies, by the way. The way your nails dug into the upholstery. Your skirt pushed up around your hips. Your demands for me to go harder, deeper, faster.
Fucking hell. I need a minute.
Okay, anyway…the thing is, it wasn’t just the sex. I mean, yes, that was amazing. But I also think about how we talked and laughed all weekend. How easy it was. And how when I walked away from you at the Atlanta airport, I felt like I was leaving a part of myself behind.
I know that sounds cliché, but sometime in the past year I’ve realized I didleave part of myself behind. A corner of my heart is stamped “Property of Bea Gillespie”. And now you’re going to be living two doors down from me all summer, with your best friend – my little sister – in tow. And yes, I’m restating the obvious, but she’s best kept in the dark about everything that’s happened between us.
I’m hoping when I see you properly, I’ll realize I’ve romanticized our weekend together, and you’ll be just another friend of Scarlett’s. Although, I’m not optimistic. At all. In the event I act like a total knob, consider this my apology. But in the event you feel even a fraction of what I do, consider this an invitation to explore our relationship. To see if there can be a relationship at all.
I’ll see you soon and I’ll be waiting. Two doors down.
With love,
Jasper

Brenda is a displaced New Yorker living in the English countryside. She’s lived in the UK long enough to gain dual citizenship, but still doesn’t understand Celsius. However, she has learned the appropriate use of the word “pants”. And how to order a proper bacon bap/barm/buttie. Because, well, bacon.
Brenda writes contemporary romance to make you giggle and swoon. When she’s not writing, she enjoys hiking, running and reading. In theory, she also enjoys cooking, but it’s more that she enjoys eating and, try as she might, she can’t live on Doritos alone.
