Dear Anniston,
Before you jump to conclusions, no, I’m not dying. I simply thought it would be nice to write my very pregnant wife a love letter for Valentine’s Day. Okay, fine. Cade wrote Breck one and insinuated that I’m not romantic enough, and we all know that’s a lie. Just last night I offered you the last cookie when I really wanted it. And when you ate it, you didn’t even offer me a bite. So really, if you think about it, I’m the more romantic one in this relationship. Wait, I don’t think this letter is going in the right direction. What I meant to say is that I am romantic, dammit. Cade doesn’t know what the fuck he’s talking about. Just because we’ve been together for… Never mind. I don’t need to tell you how many years we’ve been together. You know because you were there. And frankly, I’m scared to miscalculate the years—because you count from middle school—and lose out on any V-Day Blowies, should you feel so inclined, after reading this heartfelt note.
Anyway, since you feel pretty gross right now from being pregnant and have threatened to kill me about two dozen times just this morning, just know that I love every crazy inch of you. No one puts up with me the way you do and no one would offer to have, not only one, but two of my children. You are one incredible woman and have always made me a happy man. And to show you how much I love you, I bribed Hayes into watching the princess so you and I can enjoy a nice romp at the pay-by-hour hotel in the city. I know how you like it filthy and we probably should do it before the baby comes. Last time I called and asked if they had on-site daycare and children’s activities, the guy hung up on me.
Anyway, for now, I’ll be waiting downstairs with the guys when you finally finish the world’s longest shower. You’ll know which one is me because I’ll be the guy with the boner.
