It’s another Valentine’s Day where we’re not each other’s Valentine. I’ve debated sending this to you for days, but the fact is, I might not be your Valentine, but you’ll always be mine. I walk the aisles filled with a plethora of pink and red candy hearts and it’s a reminder that this holiday is a day to profess your love. The memories from our past spin round and round in my head. I remember the pink candy heart printed with Kiss Me that you pushed toward me when we were fourteen, the magnetic kissing bears I bought you at seventeen that still sit in the corner of your bedroom, and the first rose I ever gave you pressed in glass on your bedroom wall. 

I’m not sure how we got to where we are right now, but always know that you are the only woman I will ever truly love. May your new Valentine cherish you a helluva lot more than I ever did.
