The only thing headier than wine is lust.
Ryan Royer thought his business trip to California’s Napa Valley would be easy. Land a new client. Taste wine. But when the client is a free-spirited bombshell who presses all of his buttons, Ryan’s world goes sideways.
Kenzie Balfour is entirely irresistible. She’s the fourth generation to run The von Eck Estate Winery and she’s more intoxicating than any award-winning cabernet.
Ryan has been working hard for a promotion at one of the world’s top investment banks. If he can close this deal for her legendary winery, he gets the job. He can’t let a gorgeous woman with a great laugh get in the way of his goals. Even if she leaves him love drunk.
From a trouser-tightening almost-kiss at a restaurant to a seductive walk through a vineyard at sunset, can Ryan keep his crush on his client under control or will a taste of Kenzie be his downfall?Escape to California’s wine country in Crush.
I’m loving every word of Ryan’s Note!

Kenzie,
I’m here like a dumbass in Detroit and you’re in Napa and you’re wondering why a cactus just showed up. Because I didn’t remember it was Valentine’s Day until the small talk during my meeting this afternoon was about dinner plans and presents. When the florist I called stopped laughing at me, he said he could get you this cactus thing that he promised was way cooler than flowers and I was SOL on roses. I even said it was our first Valentine’s together. No dice. When I played the first married Valentine’s card, I thought he’d hung up. But then he sighed and said he could get the cactus to you today. I just got the delivery confirmation. So happy Valentine’s Day! I love you.
Bottom line of those whole email is three points. 1. I hope this florist isn’t friends with your parents or any of your family and keeps his mouth shut. This secret marriage thing is shit. Let me be clear. The married bit is awesome. Incredible. Unbelievable, really. It’s the secret bit. That’s what’s shit. 2. I’ve set a calendar appointment every February 10th from now until the end of time to order you flowers. 3. I love you. I miss you. I see other people wearing their wedding rings and I’m jealous. I want to wear mine. I want people to know I belong to you. That I’m yours. See my first point.
I should be at my place around six tomorrow. Use your key. My bed. You with nothing but your rings on. Hot tip – this is the only thing I want for Valentine’s or any other holiday, including Flag Day—and every night for the rest of our lives would be awesome too.
Love,
Ryan
