Title: Ex-Daredevil (Local Beats Series Book #2)
Author: Zoe Lee
Genre: Contemporary Romance, M/M
When there’s no way to prepare for love, will they be daring enough to earn it?
Eliott
When a cute guy literally fell out of the sky and into my world, I couldn’t resist the challenging glint in his eyes. Gavin was the opposite of the kind of man I thought I was looking for, but maybe there was something more to him than just a daredevil who worked for a rock star.Gavin
The last thing I expected was to be curious about the stuffy lawyer whose car I nearly crashed into during a skydiving mishap. There was no way a man like Eliott would ever be able to take me seriously. But I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to find out if we had anything more than mutual attraction in common, so I bet Eliott that I can get him to love something dangerous. This is an opposites attract MM romance featuring banter and a bet. It is the second book in the Local Beats series, which can all be read as standalones, and has a guaranteed HEA.

Gavin,
You’re sleeping through your alarm, which is blasting a Barnyard song whose lyrics I know by heart after listening to it three times a morning, five days a week, for months now.
Even a year ago, it would have been absolutely horrifying.
But right now, watching you snuffle and burrow into my side as you avoid waking up, I can’t help but think that this is just one of many wonderful ways you’ve made my life louder and better. You’ve shown me how to be happy and proud of who I am, whether that’s by wearing a colorful bowtie or adamantly refusing to ever scuba dive, no matter how pretty the fish might be.
It’s not just about how you love and encourage and cajole me into living the fullest, happiest life I can, but how fulfilled I am by being there with you, helping you do the same. Things that might come easier to me are risks for you, and there is nothing that makes me prouder to see you dive headlong into them. Like when you share your worries about work responsibilities, or last weekend when you felt safe enough to tell me your fears about adopting a child.
If we’re together, I know we’ll always be happy, challenging each other and changing. Even if you quit all your wild ways (not that I can imagine it, or want it), we’ll always be daredevils between the sheets.
Love,
Eliott

Zoe has been writing since she was a little girl, growing up north of Chicago. Since then, she’s lived in Ohio and San Francisco, and now lives near Boulder. She has a job that she loves, but it doesn’t sound exciting to anyone else. She does yoga and takes dance classes when she can. She has a husband, who reads her romances, and an amazing little girl, who is way too young to read what Zoe writes (yet). She’s inspired by her family and friends, books and art, and all of the places she’s traveled.
