Falling for the devil was not something I planned to do.
Especially not on the Lord’s day.
But there’s something about the way he crashed into my life that had my heart beating for more.
More of him and more of a life I’ve always dreamed of having.
And the more I fall for him, the more my world is turned upside down.
The Holidays are known as the best time of the year,
but with the devil around, they turn into a holiday from hell.
Lucius wrote such a cute note…

Dear Grace,
When we first met, let’s face it…you were a pain in the ass. All smiles and jolly and Christmas obsessed.
I’ve never experienced anyone like you before.
You forced me to participate in family activities, and even forced me to face the brewing emotions I was taught to keep inside.
You quickly became my saving Grace. Don’t call me corny because you know I don’t usually do this, but today, on our wedding day, I can’t help but remember how we got here.
I would do it all over again if I could…minus the Christmas shitivities. I could definitely do without those.
I can’t promise I’ll ever want kids, but you make the idea a little more appealing. Just a little bit.
I wish I could’ve met your mother, but I’m glad she left you the necklace that really solidified our impending union.
I don’t have much time left because annoying ass Teddy keeps telling me I need to take my place at the alter.
I can’t wait to bury myself in you later, and make sure you know that I’m not going anywhere.
I was the devil and you were God’s most precious angel.
Now we’re just us. An unlikely pair, but a beautiful one all the same.
Can’t wait to call you Mrs. Gram.
P.S. Don’t even think about making me smile and shake hands with everyone for hours on end because once I say I do, I’m dragging you to the jet.
Yours,
Lucius
Imani is a new graduate and mother, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in marketing just one month after giving birth to her first child. She is an amazon bestselling author, thanks to her debut novel On A Cloudy Day. Not only is she an author, but she is a singer/songwriter, poet, and plays multiple instruments. If you don’t see Imani at school or her fiance’s house, she’s probably curled up somewhere secluded, binge reading her new book obsession or writing tons of music based on her mood. She loves koalas, fried food, and deformed/misshapen stuffed animals (She finds beauty in the broken you could say lol).
