Maybe it’s selfish on my part because I know I would not survive without you if anything took you from me forever. I know you will never read this because I have every intention of setting this letter on fire once I’m done, but I have to tell someone, even if that someone is a piece of paper.
You mean everything to me. We wait our whole lives to find our mate, the piece of the puzzle that would ultimately complete us. Knowing you exist, seeing you with my own eyes, and having you so close and yet knowing you can never be mine is a torture unlike anything I have ever faced, or wish to face again.
