I’ve heard the whispers on campus of what a player Teddy McCallister is. Most girls on campus are vying to be the one, but guys like him don’t settle down.
When he overhears that my tuition has been pulled and I’m going to basically be a college reject he makes me an offer I can’t refuse.
Be his fake girlfriend until graduation so he can get his inheritance.
It seems simple enough. I need the money and he needs someone to make him look committed.
If one thing is certain, it’s that I won’t be falling for him. But no one warned me about what happens when my fake boyfriend starts to fall for me.
I can’t handle Teddy’s Love Note…

Van,
The first time I sat down to write you a letter, it was because you left me. You broke my heart and it sucked.
Please, don’t do that again, okay?
Now that we have that out of the way…
You told me last year that you’d never had any guy to buy you a cheesy stuffed animal or chocolates, and I didn’t tell you then, but I promised myself that you’d never spend another Valentine’s day feeling left out. All those guys were idiots, anyway. Let’s face it, you were really waiting to find me all along and didn’t know it.
You might think I went a little overboard, but babe, you deserve the world and so the world I bring you. Besides, your stuffed octopus needed some friends.
I love you. Only you. Every day. With every beat of my heart.
—Teddy (Not Theodore, Not Edward, Not Bundy, and definitely not Edmund. Just Teddy.)
P.S. The chocolate syrup is for me to lick off you later. Don’t say no. I’ll make it worth your while.
