You’re asleep on the couch right now. After putting Hayden down for a nap, you fell asleep with your head in my lap while watching T.V.
Looking down at you, I started stroking your hair and thinking about how much I loved you; how I couldn’t imagine living without you. I don’t tell you enough how special you are to me, and that’s something I’m going to change.
Since its Valentine’s Day, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to start. I’m not that good at expressing myself, and there’s really no words to express what you mean to me, but here goes.
You’re the most amazing person I’ve ever met. We’ve been through hell and back together, and its made me love you more than I thought I was capable of. You’ve made me a better man, and I know I don’t deserve you, but I’m sure as hell not going to take you for granted.
Our son is just … perfect. I can never thank you enough for blessing me with him. Raising him with you has been the greatest experience of my life, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives watching him grow together. You are the best mother, and even when you’re covered in spit-up or have baby food smeared on your face, you’re still the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.
You’ve made my life so much better, Ky. There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do for you and our son. I love you with everything that I am, and everything that I’ll ever be.
