*~*Love Note: Malachi to Zoe – The Wraith Files by C.C. Wood*~*

My name is Zoe Thorne and I’m just an ordinary woman. There’s nothing special about me…except that I can see ghosts.
I always felt like an outsider, until I meet Malachi Flemming and his merry band of goofballs. When I begin working with them as a paranormal investigator, we stumbled across a spirit on a deserted, country road. Hank Murphy was murdered decades ago and he desperately wants justice.
As we search for the culprit, it becomes clear that the killer is determined to protect their identity, even if it means picking us off one by one.
Desperate people will go to any lengths to keep their secrets buried.
Sometimes it’s best not to wake the dead unless you plan to join them.

I’m Zoe Thorne and I speak to the dead. Unfortunately, dead isn’t always synonymous with good-natured. In fact, most of the spirits I meet have dirty minds and a tendency to create mischief and mayhem.
For the past two months, I’ve been traveling with the cast of The Wraith Files, a paranormal investigation web show. Stony and Blaine are like the perverted, annoying brothers I never had. Our boss, Malachi Flemming, well, he makes my heart beat faster and my hormones dance.
During a break from filming, I’ve returned home to my resident ghost, Teri, an exotic dancer who died thirty years ago. I’m on a mission to find the man who murdered her and see that justice is served.
Preoccupied with my search for a killer, I’m unaware that something dark and twisted lies in wait for me. Not one, but two faceless entities intent on terrorizing me before moving in for the kill.
With unseen enemies shadowing my every move, it’s time to discover how deep my abilities run. I need every bit of power I possess…or I’ll be taking my place among the dead.
*This book contains a perverted ghost, two men who act like teenage boys, and lots of sarcasm.
OMG Malachi! Loving this note!

Dear Zoe,
I knew, from the moment I met you, that this day was inevitable. The one thing I didn’t know was how long it would take me to convince you to agree.
Before you stop reading to glare at me, you should know that it was all worth it. I would wait forever for you if I had to.
Still, I’m glad it didn’t take that long.
I’ve loved you for a long time, Zoe Thorne, and there’s only one thing about you I’ve ever wanted to change.
Your last name.
In a few minutes, you’re going to do that for me and make me the happiest man alive. I promise to do my best to make you happy, keep you safe, and know every single day that you are loved the way you deserve to be loved.
Forever yours,
Malachi
