*~*Love Note: Stefan to Luna – Lord and Master Series by Kait Jagger*~*

Luna Gregory has everything she needs. A dream job as personal assistant to the Marchioness of Lionsbridge, and a home on the 500-year-old Arborage Estate. But her encounter with Swedish entrepreneur Stefan Lundgren, charismatic, devastatingly attractive-and third in line to inherit the estate-leaves her irresistibly captivated. What Stefan doesn’t know is that he and Luna have met before, that he is drawn by more than just her English reserve and quiet beauty. Luna has her reasons for concealing the truth from him-she’s built an entire life for herself based on keeping the past in the past.
Stefan initiates Luna into a world of sexual exploration where they push the boundaries of pleasure and control, the ties that bind them, literally, in desire. Not content with possessing Luna physically, Stefan wants all of her. But he is keeping his own secrets, secrets that could drive them apart.

Betrayed. Luna Gregory has been betrayed by both her long-time mentor and the love of her life. Reeling from the discovery that the Marchioness of Lionsbridge used her as a pawn in a plot to retain control of the 500-year-old Arborage Estate, Luna runs as far away as she can get, to remote Shetland. But though she tries to put the past behind her, she can’t escape memories of the overwhelming love she shared with the heir of Lionsbridge, Stefan Lundgren. And Stefan has vowed to get her back, by any means necessary.
Stefan ultimately reclaims what is his in a single, searing night of passion, but the wounds he and Luna have inflicted on each other run deep. As they attempt to rebuild a future together, a dark seam of power, lust and control opens up between them. Addictive as it is enthralling, Stefan’s tender abuse awakens an answering darkness in Luna. Can they stop punishing each other? Do they want to? The fate of Arborage – and of their love – hangs in the balance.
The hotly anticipated second book in the Lord and Master trilogy.

Finally, Luna Gregory is exactly where she belongs: at Stefan Lundgren’s side. With the turmoil of the past behind them and their love for each other stronger than ever, the future looks bright – and busy, now that Stefan has assumed the mantle of Marquess of Lionsbridge and Luna is managing his ancestral home on the Arborage Estate. Facing these challenges together, everything Luna has always wanted seems to be within her grasp. A home, a place in the world…and Stefan, the man she knows better than anyone on earth, who sees through to the heart of her and can reduce her to trembling need with a word, a touch.
But their love is about to be tested by a ruthless new enemy, one who will stop at nothing to acquire Arborage. Even as danger and violence spiral around Luna and Stefan, Luna’s past is catching up to her – the dark truth of what she is, what she’s capable of. Soon she’ll have to decide how far she’ll go to protect what she loves, whether she’s prepared to risk losing it all.
The final searing instalment in the Lord and Master Trilogy.
Oh Stefan is quite the charmer!

Miss Gregory,
Oh, I know, I know! You want no Valentine’s Day card from me. No chocolates. No flowers. Already I see your lips pursing as you read this, those eyes of yours going minus-22-degrees-in-Hallviken cold. ‘We do not celebrate this day, Stefan!’ you are going to say. ‘I am not your Valentine!’
You are sitting in your office, in the very next room, as I write this. I can see you at your Queen Anne desk, tapping your pen on your notebook, making yet another to-do list (Am I on your list, älskling? I hope so!). You are wearing my favourite outfit, the one you had on when I met you riding across the estate on your bicycle: the white silk blouse with the black pencil skirt and…herre gud, those black stilettoes of yours, the ones that make me want to drag you straight upstairs to the private quarters, lay you down on our 500-year-old mahogany bed and…
Ah, Luna, what I would do for you, to you, if only I was allowed to celebrate Valentine’s Day!
You tell me, in your oh-so-proper, adorably English way that it is the ‘gross commercialisation and commodification of love’ that puts you off. The hype. You say that, really, loving me as much as you do, every day is Valentine’s Day—and I cannot tell you how happy these words make me. How happy you make me.
What you don’t say, of course, is that Valentine’s Day was your parents’ special day. You don’t say, would never admit out loud, that when they left you, you put today and every other reminder of them into a drawer marked ‘lost to me,’ and locked them away inside your imaginary apothecary chest.
Did you think I didn’t know this, Luna? That I didn’t know you, and all your fears, and doubts, and sadnesses? I know you, min käresta.
And so I risk writing you this note, to tell you that I count the day I first saw you 14 years ago, back when you were a snarling, grieving, shaven-headed little arg flicka who struck terror into this Swedish boy’s heart, as the luckiest day of my life.
So no, I won’t ask you to be my Valentine—instead be what you are:
My shieldmaiden.
My wolf.
My monster.
Jag älskar dig, Luna,
Stefan
