On this Valentine’s Day, I sit here and reflect on our life. This is what I’ve come up with. I’m not great at expressing myself with words, but I hope by the time you’re done reading this note, you will know how much I love and cherish you.
Relationships are like seashells.
Each one is unique.
Each one is special in its own way.
The day I met you, I knew I was going to spend the rest of my life with you.
Even at twelve years old, I knew you were that rare seashell that only washes up to the shore once in a lifetime.
Morgan, you make me happier than I ever dreamed possible.
You make me the man I am today.
In life, it’s the little things that bring me the greatest happiness.
The quiet moments we spend together laughing, talking, holding each other as we stare at Jaxson.
I am grateful for every day we spend with each other.
I look back on all of the memories we’ve made. All the happy moments we shared.
I don’t take for granted how blessed I am with the life we’ve made together and the family we’ve created.
Like seashells sprinkled along the beach, we’ve gone through our fair share of storms that have threatened us, but we’ve showed our resilience. And there’s no one else I’d rather make footprints with in this life than you.
