To Jo, my sugar, my Wonder Woman.
It’s our second Valentine’s Day together and instead of writing you a song like I did last year, I thought I’d write you a love note to go with your very sexy lingerie gift. I seem to keep destroying your panties, so it’s only right I honor my promise of buying you all the underwear you want as long as I’m the one taking them off. And sugar, tonight, be warned, I’m going to destroy the fuck out of them before I feast on that pretty pussy of yours.
Great. Now I’m hard as a rock. Although, when it comes to you, getting turned on is hardly a feat. Hell, all you have to do is look in my direction and I’m ready to take you up against whatever surface is closest. Almost two years on and you still make me feel like a horny teenager. Your sugar is my drug; I can’t get enough of you.
I’ll never forget the first day I met you. You had sexy bed hair, as if you’d just woken up—which you had, thanks to it being 2:00 am and my asshole friend thought it was a good idea to start a rave in my living room. You were standing in front of my door, dressed in that god-damn t-shirt and those red panties, wearing the most beautiful scowl on your face while ripping me a new one. If I had to choose a number of favorite moments of my entire life, that would be at the very top of the list. You took my breath away, literally. I couldn’t speak. I’m sure you thought I was mute. All I could do was stare at you, like some mystical creature. I was captured by you from the get-go. That day was life altering for me. I didn’t know I needed you until you came banging on my door, mama bear ready to kick my ass.
You were broken when you came into my life but bit by bit I was able to repair the damage of losing your first love. I’m glad I was the one to break those walls down because behind that tough exterior, that armor you had tightly in place was the woman I was destined to spend the rest of my life with. Back then you were living, but not existing and now we exist. Together. It’s you, me and Junior against the world…and our baby girl who will be with us in just a few short months.
Damn, if I feel protective of you, I can only imagine how protective I’ll be of our daughter. Jesus, between me, Junior and her uncle Tyler it’ll be like she’ll have her own Secret Service bodyguards. No way will any sweaty ass boy get within a mile of her, not with our protection.
By the way, I’m still rooting for the name Aurora, so much better than your choice of Winnie. Sugar, you can’t be serious with that name. When I say Winnie, I automatically think of Winnie the Pooh. Can you imagine her nickname at school if we call her Winnie? Please don’t put our daughter through that; she’ll be scarred for life. Aurora is better. Trust me.
Aside from our difference of opinion with baby names, the best thing about me is you. Before I met you I don’t know how I existed without you but since being in my life I know one thing for certain. I don’t want to spend a single day without you by my side. You are my everything. My Forever.
While writing this note, I’ve been trying to figure out a way to describe how much I love you and I’m coming up empty to describe my love for you without it sounding like a cheesy ass poem.
So instead, I’m just going to say the actual words.
I love you. Then. Now. Forever. Always.
Sugar, please be mine this Valentine’s Day.
Love,
Drew (AKA Captain America)
P.S – I can’t wait to see you in your present tonight. Although I should say, it’s not underwear as such but it’s something I can unwrap. So if anything, it’s more of a present for me than it is for you.
