Lyric,
The day you walked into my bar for the first time is one I’ll never forget. Seeing you…there aren’t words to describe the way I felt the first time I heard your voice. Even that little attitude you gave me drew me toward you. Now, here we are four years later and even though I didn’t think it was possible, I love you more now than I did then.
Valentine’s Day has always had a special meaning for us. Our first date was the day after, you agreed to marry me the next, and now you’ve just given birth to our first child. I can’t even believe I’m saying that. We have a child. A little person who’s part me and part you, someone we get to love and watch grow up. Watching you be in pain for the past eight-and-a-half hours has been hard, but seeing our son come into the world makes every bit of it worth it.
The past four years have been wonderful, and I can’t wait to see what happens next for our little family. Noah is so lucky to have you as a mom. You’re an amazing woman, and I’m so glad you’re mine.
Love,
David
