Merry Christmas!  Happy Holidays!

However you choose to celebrate this time of year, I hope you’re surrounded with joy and love.  Since this blog gives me so much joy throughout the year, I thought I would end 2018 with a super awesome giveaway!  Every day on the blog Facebook page I will be doing daily flash giveaways of my favorite things – everything from gift cards to Blu-Rays to other random items that I just cannot imagine living without this year.  I will also be posting daily giveaways on the blog with signed paperback’s of my favorite books that I’ve read this year.  So that’s two chances to win every day from now until Christmas!

I’ve yet to read an L.J. Shen book and not be blown away but Dirty Headlines was just…woah!  Woah in the best, most amazing, memorable ways.  I looooooooved Célian – I mean, I always love a good jerk, but a jerk in a suit is a whole different ball game.  And honestly, Célian took it to another level and I couldn’t get enough.  I loved Jude…I loved the plot…I loved it all. And the icing on the cake was L.J.’s amazing writing, every time I read her books I fall in love with her words more and more.

Title: Dirty Headlines
Author: L.J. Shen
Genre: Contemporary Romance
synopsis 2 new

From bestselling author L.J. Shen, comes a new standalone, enemies-to-lovers romance.

Célian Laurent.
Manhattan royalty.
Notorious playboy.
Heir to a media empire.
…And my new boss.

I could have impressed him, if not for last month’s unforgettable one-night stand.
I left it with more than orgasms and a pleasant memory–namely, his wallet.
Now he’s staring me down like I’m the dirt under his Italian loafers, and I’m supposed to take it.
But the thing about being Judith “Jude” Humphry is I have nothing to lose.
Brooklyn girl.
Infamously quirky.
Heir to a stack of medical bills and a tattered couch.
When he looks at me from across the room, I see the glint in his eyes, and that makes us rivals.
He knows it.
So do I.
Every day in the newsroom is a battle.
Every night in his bed, war.
But it’s my heart at stake, and I fear I’ll be raising the white flag.

  1. We don’t celebrate Christmas, so I won’t be doing anything special. I’ll probably spend some time with my sister.

    1. Wearing pjs with my mom, sis, and 1 year old niece her first Christmas btw. Watch a Christmas story open presents and eat good food. Thank you for the chance?

  2. I don’t know what my plans are; I don’t know where everyone is at this year and I don’t have to work so it’s up in the air.

  3. I will have Christmas dinner with my family.? I’m trying to heal from a cancer surgery so it will be low key this year. Happy Holiday everyone.

  4. I’m going to my son’s for Christmas & then we will headed to extended family’s house. Thanks for this amazing chance.

  5. We visit Family the day or 2 before so that we can stay home on Christmas with our kids
Most kids don’t want to leave all their New Presents that day anyway LOL ?

  6. I go with my best friend and her husband to her mom’s house. I’m in charge of the squash this year. Lisa usually hosts but she’s in the hospital at the moment and we don’t want her to have to worry about anything when she gets out.

  7. We go to my sister’s house on Christmas Eve. My family does a big Mexican dinner and play games. Christmas morning my little family and I open presents at home. Then, we head out to my sister-in-law’s to spend time with my husband’s family. It will be a tough year, because it will be the first Christmas spent without my father-in-law.

  8. I have no big plans for Christmas, I will be spending it with my Mum and Dad,
In the morning we usually go to the Cemetary and put wreaths on my grandparents graves.. Then go to visit my sister and her family she has 4 children 2 girls and Twin boys, their house is so chaotic.. Lol.. The twins are so funny they are only 2 and I adore them. We give out gifts.
Then we head home and my brother comes over with his children he has 3 grown-up children and 2 younger children.. My other sister visits around the same time with her family she has 3 children.. So the house gets pretty full. We exchange gifts etc..
As you can gather I live with my parents even though I am old enough to live on my own, I can’t due to illness and can’t really live on my own.
It is such a busy day. After everyone leaves we then get to eat.. And watch T. V.. LOL
Thankyou so much for the chance to win this amazing prize, I Love L. J. SHEN.

  9. Every year we wake up and open presents then we go to my brothers for Christmas dinner and then we come back home and watch A Christmas Story.

  10. No plans this year. It’s been a tough Fall with Hurricane Florence in our area. We plan on laying low, attending church and spending a quiet Christmas at home.

  11. I plan on seeing extended family that I haven’t seen in a long time!!
Thanks so much for the chance!! I love all of Leigh’s books so much!!

  12. At the moment, just a quiet day here. There’s too much to work around this year, with my Da at the palliative level of care, and at home. So we’ll do dinner and gifts, and hopefully he’ll find a little joy in what we can still do. Maybe later, we’ll have another dinner with my extended family, but I’m not too sure yet. ?????

  13. We recently moved to my home province and we’re heading to my Dad’s for Christmas this year. It’s my first Christmas at home since 1989!
