Happy day before the Fourth of July and Happy belated Canada Day…and happy beginning of July! 🙂 As usual, I feel like the summer has snuck up on me – I kicked 2026 off with a vacation that was originally planned for 2020 (a casualty of Covid) that was absolutely amazing but the rest of the year has felt like a whirlwind.

One of my daughters has to work Saturday, so I’m going to grill some burgers and fix sides Sunday.

Was planning to celebrate at home w/family, barbecue & pool. Followed by fireworks 🎆 watching from our backyard as people all around us will do them though it’s not legal. However, it’s been storming ⛈️ and very hot lately. If it still continues into tomorrow, we’ll just watch baseball/world cup on tv. Plus whoever is airing fireworks on tv
